Originally I drew this temple to try out two things: a sort of inner yard and thick castle walls. The inner yard as such is not a problem, but the walls. Oh, the walls...

    Hi,

I have been mapping the Darklands these past few days. My campaign will be travelling through them and I wanted a visual.

  4. Inner Sea GIS update

Ok, I have completed the first phase:

    1. Created a GIS with a GCS-WGS-1984 projection
    2. Converted the map from the Inner Sea Map Folio from PDF to JPG
      Imported them into Arcmap
    3. Using the Golarion map from the Inner Sea World Guide as a guide, I georeferenced the four images. The scalar given on the map is 100% correct at the equator.
    4. From this basemap:
    5. Digitized rivers: All of them. 15/167 are unnamed
      Attributes: Name, Watershed, Length, Direction,

Presumably, Paizo has the Inner Sea map saved in a way that allows them to capture regions and zoom in. One would further assume that of they were matched up in the right projection, in the right geographic area, that they would all agree. I have found this to be impossible to reconcile.
