Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.
If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ. You will have to register before you can post or view full size images in the forums.
Thanks for the rep and nice compliments, Sue, you're always so kind, the Guild is better with you in it.
Thanks a lot Sue
Joyeux Anniversaire, Thomas!
You're welcome Its a beautiful and very distinctive map!
Thanks for the rep and kind comment Sue I like dandy !
Merci pour le vote, votre adorable commentaire et le représentant, Thomas - très appréciée
LOL! How can you say you didn't draw it? The coastline is a relatively small part - I was talking about all the mountains and forests and such And then there were the colours. I love your colours. They are always so harmonious Very well deserved!
Thanks Sue, Bogie's challenge was very motivating and even if I reinterpreted the coastline, I did not really "drew" it
Thanks for the rep, Sue. I'll try to deliver the color version soon.
My pleasure, Sue
