Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

I am trying to export the entire planet (with current colors of the planet) in a way that it looks like the outline and colors look just like the FTPro pic. (Not the ugly and very blocky version it does output). In other words, something I can build off of and make the map look decent, like it was drawn in CC3.
Yes, there is, and you can fiddle with the outpout options. What are you trying to export?
Hey NK, I know you use CC3 but do you also use FTPro? If you do, I need some pointers on how to export files from FTPro to CC3. I know there is a feature to do that, but the maps look like crap when you do it. But is there another way to make it look decent?
I like your maps. I'm also a user of CC3, exclusively. But I'm nowhere near your skill. Nice work!
