Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Oh you mean the Ferraris style? It's not so difficult The mappers of 250 years ago were limited to what they could do by the paper, pigments and equipment they used. I had a much easier time of it with my PC and CTRL+Z And sorry for the long delay in responding. I've been extremely busy just lately because of that very project.
That's not true ! I saw the work you published on Facebook !!! Splendid !!!! You managed so well to catch the spirit of this old maps !
You're welcome, Jo Your work is a lot better than mine these days anyway

Oh, and thank you so much for the rep and comment on Dorina!
I'm fine - just incredibly busy. Over the last year I've made a full set of seamless textures, 4 or 5 Cartographer's Annual issues, at least a thousand new symbols, and written at least 6 articles for the Profantasy blog. Its been really busy, but really good fun
Thanks a lot Mouse ! I hope everything's well for you ! I've seen you are very active with people from CC3 ! It's great to see that you're still in the process of drawing maps and that you even produce pieces for CC3 !
