Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

No problem.
Hmmm...I am probably confusing it with one of the hundreds of Gimp tutorials I have seen. Sorry for that.
Hmm, I din't have any mountains brush in that post, nor any other than I can think of. You sure it was "my" tutorial that you are looking at?
Yes, and it's for the mountains, it might have been under the trees. But all I remember is that the pictures of the two mountains.
Hi Dornier Spy, to clarify, you are talking about the "Fanciful Tree Brush" hose brush right? If so I'm not sure I know what the problem is given this description. It may be that the _ underscore is the problem though; have you tried saving it without the underscore?
Hey Arsheesh, sorry for bugging you. I was trying that animated stamp for GIMP but it seems to be broken for me. Whenever I try to save it as an extension in the brushes folder as "Sky_Reach Tall.gih" it says the title should be exported and saved as something else. The tutorial says to use Save As, so I don't know what to do. Please help.
Hi Dornier Spy, my pleasure, glad to here they are of help to you. Cheers, -Arsheesh
Hey Arsheesh, thanks for the tutorials on your signature. They are helping me a lot now with the problems I had.
