Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

12 Rounds... Can't help but enjoy the stuff... it's good. I like the whole "semi-brush on canvas" aspect and the lack of a strong "Japanese Manga" (unlike say the new 4E D&D...) If you're looking for something to inspire you (i.e. You Don't Do the art for pay usually and want things to draw) I'd be keen for you to look at the stuff I've been developing as a writer/game designer and see if any of it grabs your attention. I try to be fairly detailed in my descriptions but I can't draw figures very well and would LOVE to have someone who can try draw the things I have described. If you'd like to read (or see a Homebrewed d20-Style RPG System) follow the link in my Signature to find the download of my book in "pre-release draft" stage.
