Back in 2002 I found out the software Wilbur and I started playing with it, just to make a whole planet for a draft sci-fi story of mine. A planet with bright blue vegetation.

So, after many tries and tweaks I came out with the following images:

I was quite satisfied with the global result, so I tried to get a more detailed image of a smaller part of the surface.
Here is shown an island that I named Gondar.

Meanwhile, I also liked to play with the software Terragen 0.9, so I tried to make a 3D terrain model from the previous surface and got the following local result:

I wasn't very satisfied with the terrain shapes at local scale in fact I found them too smooth, furthermore I wasn't able to sharpen the surface, so I gave up with it and forgot this planet until 2007 when Terragen 2 was released.

As soon as TG2 appeared I reminded my blue planet and made this image:

Finally, in 2012 I found out "The Cartographers' Guild" and I just resized that image as my new Avatar.
