All, at our own pace

I was sure hoping that I would be farther along than I am. Got tied up with trying to figure out how to crop, and that led to image enlargement and reduction, and those pesky pixels are back again. The first tutorial I became involved with said a 2000 x 2000 was a good size, but I am starting to believe that I might have needed a 4000 x 4000 to do what I want to do. I got another sketch pad (a smaller one) to hang out with me at work. I'll keep it in my tool box just in case I have some extra time.
I did discover some new things about the people I am observing here. They seem to be descendants of Arawak, Taino, and Carib peoples of the Caribbean. Their architecture is mostly all circles and domes, but pyramidal base structures seem to hold the town centers ... or whatever those structures are. If I get some extra time, I'll draw what I am seeing here. I've about given up on trying to enlarge the map, that I've already got done, to try to give a closer look at the twin cities. I think I will need to do a little more detail than the pixels are allowing me. I might have to google a "pixel training camp" that I can send these guys to.
