Welcome!
The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Thank you for the rep! I responded to your question in the thread. =)
Thanks for the rep!
Was directed to your page from a member on the "Commissions" page. I pasted the thread I posted below. Here's the link (I have an image in there of the area I'm looking for that I can't upload here):https://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=47182[/url]. Looking for a map image of the towns of the Lower CT River Valley. The main need is as an image to be put on soccer jerseys. I would at least like the right to commercial reproduction if not copyright as I plan to use this when I open the club. I am looking to put this image on all our gear and equipment. I will need to send the image to the guy designing the kits (jerseys) so it needs to be very hi resolution. I have attached an image for geographic orientation. I'd like the map to be historic- looking; think 1700-1800's pirate map with enough detail to make it intriguing but not so cluttered it looks like a CADRG map. I've searched everywhere so you tell me what the price should be and we'll go from there. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the REP!!
Hey folks! I'm a weird fiction writer primarily, but I also make mapping elements taken from historical maps and give 'em away for free. You can find out more on blog.kmalexander.com or head over to Mapping Elements where I generally hang out. Questions or comments is always welcome.
