Thanks again for the praise & smile, Mr D ! I'm trying to finish this big map before the end of the year, but that's gonna be tough.

The Crypt Kingdom is finished, only cities are missing on the Kingdom of Selva and Vodya. After that, only Waïgana in the NE remains on the to-do-list. Then, the shading, the surrounding elements & colors... then proper labels!

Every time we think you've reached a peak in your art and every time you surpass yourself! incredible!
Did you have this arrangement (with the statues) in mind from the start or was it an idea that came to you along the way?
Either way, it's splendid and adds a whole new atmosphere to the whole thing.
Not to mention the animals: here too you've outdone yourself... they're so inventive and so well done!
I hope you get as much pleasure from putting your fertile imagination down on paper as we do from admiring your creations!
Judging by the animals, are you going to colour the card too?
It's going to be a real gem!

Merci beaucoup ! The idea with the gods&goddesses little statues came afterward. I wanted to do a perspective map with a scroll a bit torn and later thought "hey, why not place something to keep the map flat and stable on top of it?". I tend to do it with rolled maps irl, so... Actually, I hope it's not gonna conflict with the creatures too much. And yes, I'll try to color it properly.

Kingdom of Selva & Vodya finished. And only cities are missing in Waïgana, last realm of the map. Then, I'll start the shading and elements (compass, filling the seas, the statues, etc.).

Cities done in Waïgana. I'm doing the shading and the shading/color test on a statuette. I also added the perspective effect on the water labels. Not sure I'll do it for the others.

Still some shading to do (mostly in the East) and a statuette to do. I guess I'll place the key in one of the lower corners. It's half size.
