    Wip Western Troa Continent - Feedback, please

    I would like to know what you think of the height map, I'm starting at the bottom right corner, I only did five levels of altitude, two levels of land and three levels of sea.

    This is the basic layout of the map, mountain ranges in red, rivers and lakes in blue.

    I added seven more levels of land and two more levels in the sea, this corner of the map is generally finished.

    Okay, let's move a little north, I already did the seven levels of sea, time to make the land.

    Sorry any grammatical error, I'm better with Portuguese than English.

    It's looking good.

    Here's some advice from my similar experience:
    - starting from bottom level to top level will often lead to higher altitudes, it's a good idea to decide, from the start, what's the highest you want to go;
    - sometimes, it's better to start from the top;
    - I assume you are doing each level in a different layer, if not, you're doing it wrong and FIX IT immediately;
    - try to do it in a way that altitude profile isn't the same on the two sides of a mountain range - that's rare, more often than not, one side is steep and the other is some kind of plateau);
    - don't forget that some areas will be flat and low, where large rivers drop the sediment - have a look at the topographic maps of the amazon basin or the ganges mouth or the orinoco...

    keep it up!

    I've kept this in mind from the beginning.

    Do not worry, I'm doing it right, I would not make that mistake ... again.

    Yes, I have to get used to these details, but so far it's not a problem in those areas of the map.

    thank you.

    well, the eastern part of the map is ready, at least the land, but the sea is easy.

    it was quite tiring to make the mountain range, especially considering that I have re-made it a couple of times.
    again, whoever can give your opinion and criticize the map, would be of great help.

    I'm a newbie, but in my opinion it looks quite decent.
