How to make this map (outline only) rich. #Multiple_Island_arcs_World #多重島弧世界

I have not decided the correct name yet. About this world.
For the time being, I call "Multiple Island arcs World" (多重島弧世界).

I had a plan called "Marginal World" (辺縁世界).
However, it seems that meaning does not convey well when translating into English.


This map has no color.
Also, there is no interesting information.
And the texture is missing.

I can use Photoshop.

Would you do me a favor? I need some help.
What are the ways to enrich this map more?

The first thing is the scale.
First, the outline is thick, you could have more details with a smaller one.
Second, if you want more details, you might consider working on a larger file. Your file is 3070 × 2171 pixel in size. If this is the whole world, the map is simply too small to included detailed coastlines.

Lastly, I think the general shapes look good.

Is there a particular reason why the islands appear to be rotating around the center? Is the world a sphere like Earth?

Ah! I'm sorry, I did not make it clear enough.

What I was thinking is like making an old and rich frame on the map.
Or, overlay the texture like parchment on the map.
I do not know other means to improve the appearance of the map besides this.


The reason the islands appear to be revolving around the center is because "the gods stirred up the ocean in the mythical era". The local people believe in that way.
The gods were stirring, just like when mixing soup pots.

A swirl was created in the ocean.
In the pot, meat of a large monster like behemoth or Leviathan was thrown in.
The meat has become a rock. The rock became land.

And from the remaining meat, various creatures naturally occurred.
It is written in another story about how human beings were born.

Perhaps, plate tectonics does not matter here.
Therefore, I think that this world is not a sphere.
Surely this world is flat, nobody knows how the edge of the world is.
People of this world is the brave much the same as we. However, no one has visited the edge of the world.
