So I decided to recreate my motherland in a fantasy style, this is the area of Judea desert, Israel, and Egypt.

Oh, this is a great start Hart The coloring and the overall layout looks really good and i love the icons on the legend. Looking forward to see them spread all over the map. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, So far the only thing that bothers me is the compass i made, im probobly going to change it but its fine so far as a place holder.

It's one of the most interesting compasses i've seen here for a while, what exactly bothers you about it?

Edit: One more thing, you should keep in mind that the Suez channel was only built in 1869 i totally overlooked it on first sight, but you should consider it if you are heading for a somewhat "historical" map here (unless it's a sort of "alternate history Judea where they built a channel back then at the same place )

Very good start! The color palette is excellent. As are your shield & your compass .
Abu Lafia is right about the Suez Canal, but meanwhile, it's a fantasy version, so why not ?!

Well ofc I know about suez but i thought it gives the area abit more character , aside from the map beeing alternative history/fantasy.
But thanks for noting that.
About the compass .. i feel like i should go with something more complex, or just afding some more detail to it.

### Latest WIP ###

So i worked allitle more on the layout, its much more refined now and i added some hills on the map itself, figured out the locations of the settlements i want to show... and thats it (FOR NOW)

Looking good, maybe the inner wave lines on the Lakes is a little too far spaced from the shoreline, works for the sea.

Actualy those are height lines, but i think i will go for broken wave lines later.
