    Ruins of Kederah

    This one comes to you via my Patreon, imaginebetterworlds
    which is where it was created and posted back in August of 2018. Thanks to all my patrons, past and present. And even future ones, for that matter.
    The ruins are out in a very dry region, several miles from the town of Kehdris. Choose your own adventure

    I love the way you captured the 3d effect of the walls using shadow and focus. Another great one.

    Magnificent ! I really love the way you manage to render the heights of everything : terrain, walls, trees ! You're a master in a lot of thing, but this is one of your best capacity !

    Your volumes in a top-down map are always amazing, but the shadows are there the most impressive in my opinion, as they're such a subtle clue about where are the doors & other openings

    Yup, I'm with the others, you've managed to really make the stones of the ruins pop out of the page. A very fine piece.

    Part of why I did this was to experiment with showing changes in wall heights for ruins.

    Studying light and shadow was a big part of some core training stuff I did a number of years back.
