Wip Subcontinent of Dyruce, a DnD setting.

Long member, lost my old account due to not using it for years and years. This is a map that I have been working on for some time for my DnD campaign that has been so rudely interrupted by recent events. As such, I had a bunch of time to finish the map quicker than anticipated and it's something I'm proud of. I just made this with some simple supplies and elbow grease, making the fonts a bit crude but hopefully clean. The one that I'm posted in about 90% done, with some towns needing to be posted in the bottom right corner map and fleshing out the main roadway system. Haven't included a key yet, but I feel the terrain types at least somewhat explain themselves. I plan on adding some flourishes, like a compass and bordering, but for now I am pretty happy. Link provided for the full gallery. The whole thing is 66'' by 84''. Scale is 1 inch is 50km.

Dots are 1k-5k towns, Squares 5k-10k towns, diamonds 10k-15k towns, Stars are 15k-25k towns and backed Stars are 25k+.

    Comments and criticisms are appreciated!

I like the shape of your continent and a lot of your island clusters are very interesting. Some of the river basins do strange things, but it looks like a fun place to explore. I think the mountains and hills would benefit from some shading and details, otherwise they are a little overpowered by the forests. Good job, I am sure your group will love it!

Had exactly the same problem and started again in January

I like your continent too and I'm a big fan of inner seas. I also like the idea of that small mountain-bridge in southeast to connect another continent/land. What I really like most is your mapsize. A nine-sheet Worldmap for your group? Man I'd love to have one for my own

I'm in awe of all the names you had to ad to flesh out all of this!
I'll add that maybe take some time to add some slight detail to the mountains. It would help the map a bit. Or if you are really ambitious, change some mountains to crystals or something, it would add some extra adventure sense for the dnd campaign.

Again, well done with this project!
