Throwing my pirate hat in the ring here ... it's not all that piratey yet but it'll get there.

Oh goody, another Gidde map! The hand lettering is fantastic, much better than what I could achieve. I like the dotted shading as well. Very much looking forward to seeing updates to this map.

Starting to take shape now. The idea is that it's a combination reference, coming-of-age test and treasure map. Not sure how exactly I'm going to make that clear, since I'm fast running out of space for insets etc. But I did add the first clue.

Here's the last update for today; Some elements really aren't popping in black and white so I'll have to do a color once-over eventually.

You are not kidding! I find it's less painful if done in little bits at a time, which is why it's getting pretty much fully finished bit by bit instead of all the drawing then all the shading.
