Hello,

My name is Darcy Cardinal from Alberta, Canada. I have been creating hand drawn fully planned maps since the late 1990's.

I got inspired to create maps after playing the game Simcity 2000, however, my family could not afford a computer (game was at a friends house). Hence, I just used the next closest thing - my imagination. My main form of maps has been "modern" if you call it that. There really isn't a set time of the maps as I am more interested in the actual layout of the streets. The media I use is simple paper and the tools to create the maps are markers and a ruler. The rest is done in my head.

I look forward to seeing the rest of the WIP's and finished maps here

Hello Darcy, welcome to the Guild! We are interested in all kinds of maps here, so perhaps you would like to show one of yours? Even a photo or scan of a paper map is always welcome

I'd suggest one of the WIP threads would be a good place. There is one for Town/City mapping, if that is what your map shows.
