    Default Tavern for VTT

Our DM requested a Tavern 20x20 squares (100'x100') with an angled porch on a corner lot. This took about 30 minutes. Will post a picture of it in use later tonight.

The stone outline assists in scaling during gameplay (approximately 44x24) for the 50" VTT.Tavern 2.jpg

    Cheers!

PS: Grid, tables and chairs, kitchen stuff, etc.. was purposefully left off and will be added using Roll20.

The wooden planks look really good. The trees are nice as well. Not so much a fan of the repeating grass texture, but for a quick map this turned out really, really well.

What program(s) did you use to make this map? Like arsheesh, I'm a fan of the planks. The trees are a little bright for my taste, but all the other textures look great (I don't mind the tiled grass).

I used CC3/DD3 and GIMP for a minor changes. I hope to hit the right balance between quality and speed of development. Thanks for the encouragement!

Very nice map Cor8896! I think the trees and floors you are using look like either Torstan's or Mike Schley's mapping elements sets for CC3.

My only constructive critique is that the grass tile is at a much lower resolution than everything else so it looks pixelated. There are lots of nice high res grass tiles and backgrounds available that would really make this map look great.

Of course, for a quick map for a game session it is absolutely fine as it is, and the layout and design is terrific.

The photo-realistic grass is pretty cool IMHO :-)

What size TV is that? The picture is clear, and has depth. Looks good.
