It came to our attention this week that the 3rd party installer that we use for our software caused a critical error when used to update from older versions to the then-current 2.1. The error in one case wiped out an entire CC3+ installation. After discussions with the firm that made the installer software, we were able to eliminate the problem. To do that, we have replaced Version 2.1 with Version 2.2, which no longer contains the erroneous code.
CC3+ users who already have successfully installed version 2.1 need do nothing at all. The new Version 2.2 has no new content. It simply eliminates the installer problem.
However, we strongly urge any CC3+ user who has downloaded but not yet installed Version 2.1 to erase it and to download and install the current version (2.2) instead.
