Map The Kingdom of Meirdre (Finished Commission)

Hello guild! I’ve just finished up a map for a return client. It’s a revisit of a region I previously mapped for them (in fact, it was my very first commission), expanded to show the surrounding kingdoms too for the second book in the series.

This was drawn up in Procreate on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil, then taken to Photoshop to add some textures and weathering. Unusually for me this map was hand lettered at the client’s request, which isn’t usually my strong suit, but I’m pleased with how it came together!

Very nice! The lettering is quite good as well, way better than I could manage I suspect.

Love the highlighting on the mountains and forests, nice color scheme, too. Gotta second the font, really solid choice.

Very nice map, with a very strong choice of colour, but very consistent.
I use the same tools to draw (Ipad and PS) and I like the combination of the two (even if the return of PS to Ipad always seems a bit difficult... depending on what you want to add to the map).
In any case, the set you've designed looks very good, and no problem with labels.

Very good map. Nice and clean, good composition, and I really like the shading on the mountains and forests.

I agree with wminish here, the map is very clean and legible. The forest style works really well as well!

Nice clean style, and a very attractive map. I love the dotted texture and subtle highlights within the labels. You've done a great job with that.

Superb yet simple map with a marvelous color theme. The shading is also masterfully executed and I really love that compass. Great job !
