JUNE CONTEST ENTRY : The Corruption

Here is the path I have chosen to take on this one playing with some colors and styles so far .Will add towns labels legend border after I get the color scheme nailed down .

I like the colors used on the mountains. Might be a little dark at the end but well let's see the next update

jtougas Concepts aren't a problem of mine. Execution tends to be my problem area. But this one is pretty much inside the box compared to most of my usual entries ! And I have been developing an ink and wash Technique that should work well for this..

MAX These are just base layers. Like real watercolors they will be built upon/over. Probably three layers . I think that will suffice. Back to work !

Who In the Hell put all those trees in there Then Didn't clear out the underbrush ?? I can't feel my fingers Thanks Thanks alot !! My Tablet is getting quite a workout ! By the time I am done with this I might actually have hand eye coordination... NAH !!

Hehe, you wouldn't expect a too easy tak, would you? Anyway, nice coloring technique on the mountains

The watercolour style is beautiful! It might be worth trying the same style on the rivers, there's a bit of a disconnect between the wet brushes on the landscape and the layer styles of the lakes.

And, keeping with your (excellent) theme, maybe the water could be a slightly less... wholesome colour.
