Wip A dark and dusty corridor beckons you..... [J.Ed dungeon 01]

    Just getting my thread started.
I will describe more as I have a bit sketched out.
    Right now... gotta go sketch
Here's a picture of something completely different..

What the hell is that thing? It looks like a squid swallowed a gelatinous cube!

It's more properly known as a 'Squamous Cube-fiend with Burger'
It was just something that got drawn up while I was doing Inktober this past month.

Chashio had a hilarious idea of doing little smaller dungeons matching this... like gnome size ones
Connecting up with full size. I just thought that was hilarious imagining it.

    Ok. first quick sketch.
Not sure how detailed I am going to make these...
I think it might be cool to knock out a number of sections rather than make a super-fine single section.
    We'll see.

Only you can make tentacled things cute and huggable.
That's a nice start to the map!

Like the sketch and I also like the idea that some gnomes broke through into some monster dungeon and got... predated.

Just want to point out that there is no need to fill all of the square areas right to the edge. Not that its bad to do so but just that its not a requirement. We can place the maps together on a single grid basis not as a whole block like a geomorphic dungeon. The smaller and more irregular the bits the more interesting the fit up can be.

I gotcha Red, it's just not as interesting for me to make little rooms.
That's all. I may make some other smaller bits, but I like to make a larger idea.

    A little progress...

Maybe I'll find a way to make some top down huggable monstrosities

Wow! You've done tons already, and its already looking great

I also chose to do a cavern. Hmmm.... maybe I should reconsider?

Nah, there are going to be caverns and then there will be more structured and refined dungeon spaces.
I think there's plenty of space for both.

Okay. I made some tweaks to suit Red's concerns some.
It does sort of cramp style and design a bit though.
Idk. maybe I'll just make some corridors after this. shrug.
