July/August 2024 Challenge: Biopunk Sci Fi Beast World

Hehe, I love this challenge. Here's what I got...

I'm gonna attempt to use all of the spin results. No idea what the map will look like yet but I'm having fun thinking up the setting and getting in some Blender practice.

I started a base sculpt for a giant creature, going with a mix of spider, crab and turtle for a fun world beast (among many varieties of world beast. they run into each other from time to time). Thinking there could be a type of citified ring world around the edge rim of its shell, and a wilderness frontier across its back filled with bio-hacked and mutated flora and fauna. Big underworld black market for that stuff around here and likely a bunch of nightmarish experiments that you don't want to meet.

Also started a couple concepts for some squiddy-type biomech vehicles that could be suited to a mix of sky, water and land travel.

Landmass on the back of a creature is a trope I've always loved, but thought it's too specific for a challenge of its own so really looking forward to how this turns out

A couple of those kinda look like the face hugger/egg planter creatures from Alien. But digging this.
