Mostly, I just take alchemy symbols and stick em on a rectangle and call it done. If I had some sort of project that was very near and dear to me then I'd put more thought into it.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.

but I have an entire economy, government, and so on: http://www.nationstates.net/nation=pq_forge
to be honest, i haven't made a map for this yet - it hasn't been until the last month or so that I've felt I had the skill to attempt this. I really want it to be special when I do

Not flags but I did sit down once years ago and pound out a bunch of Heraldry shields. I'll have to see if I can scan those in and start using some of them.

I made a whole bunch of flags for my now stagnant campaign setting... but I only have them as a powerpoint file which the board won't allow me to upload.

My Kingdom of Sam'thuma is a cross-continent neighbor of a2area's Torentine. Its constituent Principalities also have flags.
