Hello! I am working on a map of a world i have made up, and so far it looks pretty good! I am looking for advice on names, biomes and a quick history on what you think the world is like! Thanks alot -CatHades III With Countries.png Hades III.png

What's the map projection?
What's the world size (e.g. how far around the equator)?
Are there any mountains?
How warm is this world compared to Earth?
How about rivers?
It's very hard to make reasonable guesses at anything resembling a biome without answers to such questions. Well, technically untrue, but without information on projection and size, you'd get answers about Earthlike conditions.
I am very new to mapping, and i have no idea how to determine the projection?
How did you generate the map? I suppose an important first question would be "is the world a globe (round) or a plane (flat)". If a plane, then models suitable for a globe won't work at all and you don't have any projection at all.
it looks like the donjon algorithm a type of "fracture" noise
http://donjon.bin.sh/world/
and looks to be in simple cylindrical projection
add mountains , valleys and lakes . Without those you can NOT create the biosphere .
also the axial tilt for how severe the winter / summer cycle is
the amount of rainfall ( also mountain dependent )
and so on....
as to projections have a read through the wikipedia page
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_map_projections
the "net" is after all the WORLDS biggest Encyclopedia
