Battle of the Ring

A while back someone pointed out an old old Lord of the Rings game on Board Game Geek called "Battle of the Ring", published by an obscure company I've never heard of, back in 1977. On a whim I decided to re-draw the rather awful original map. This is what I came up with.

I have heard from some that the game is only so-so. But all the original parts and the rules are available on the BGG website, so if you are feeling crafty you can print out my board and the original counters and rules and try it yourself. I haven't yet; I just made up the map for fun.
