    Default Hardware for Wilbur

Dear all, I'm about to buy a new machine for work, entertainment and everything. Of course, the main feature of this new machine must be the capacity of handling Wilbur with insane resolutions.
Now I read on Wilbur's handbook that the important hardware requirements are a powerful processor and tons of RAM. Whereas fancy graphics hardware (Nvidia graphic processors with dedicated memory I guess) are useless. This is a main point to me, because Wilbur is the only reason I would think of an Nvidia instead of a simple Intel Iris. Please clarify me this point.

Wilbur should run well with processor graphics. A dedicated card isn't required. The world has flipped around a bit since I wrote the Wilbur documentation and the best indicator of performance is memory subsystem speed followed closely by CPU cache amount, then CPU speed and number of cores.
