    Map Atallas -- Commission

A commission done for author Aidan Hennessy's private RPG round, based on his Heirs of Lydin novel. The map shows (part of) the northern hemisphere, with the lower border approaching the world's equivalent of the equator. This was quite a blast fom the past, as back in the day Carurlonia and Emparia were among the very first commissions I ever did!

Oh...i like this a lot. Cool landshapes and an interesting new style. I dig the coloration and the mountains and forests look very good imo. It has kind of a cartoon-y style to it, but not too pronounced. As i said, i like it.

Great job Wired. I love the mountain and forest style you've done here. The subtle cliff lines and land shading also work a treat!

You've got some lovely colours palettes in there too!

On a different note, I would have to say the rhumb lines are a little too much for my tastes, along with the strong coastal glow and I think I would have liked a thicker border look to it, but those are just things down to personal preference, so not really criticism.

As always, nice work all round Wired!

Nice work on this. I really like the red lines on the mountains. I've done black & brown mountains, but I've never even considered red. They look great! I like the forests too.

Nice strong colors too. Also a fan of your use of red there.

I love the composition on this map, Wired.

Even the placing of the ocean names is sweet

I really love the painterly forests ! Did you use linework then deleted it or did you go full paint right away ?
