Default April 2017 Challenge: The Eastern Lands of Lyranth

Well nothing like continuing on a roll, so while my energy levels are high, I thought I'd try and get something in for this challenge. I made a brief start on it last week.

I figured it might be a good chance to try for a slightly cleaner fantasy style map. No idea of what the insets will actually be like yet, but here's a quick preview of where it was last week (and still is now )

That's a lovely composition - nice shapes and well positioned and orientated

This is looking very nice! The mountains are great and I agree with Mouse that the composition is excellent.

These mountains are looking really good so far, and I imagine they're only going to get better after you shade, and colour them, nice start.

I'll just echo everyone else (because they're right ) - the composition is great. Onward!

    Thanks guys!

I think based on that feedback, first things first, I'll change the composition all around.

I managed to work on it a bit last night so should have an update later today.

What a terrible composition! D: Nah, just kidding, this is a very promising start Gregory! I'm curious to see how you'll fill in the insets!

Haha, thanks Dan! I'm curious too as to what I'm going to do with them.

Anywho, here's an update. Got a bit carried away with colour before finishing the linework. Plenty still to do!
