Default Modern topographical style on a fantasy land

Hello, everyone. Today I've been trying to get something of a modern topographical style going. Please note that I haven't spent much time on it, and therefore it's extremely incomplete, but please comment and tell me what you think.

Whatever the red dotted lines are supposed to be, they sort of overwhelm the rest. I'd pick something a bit more subtle. Otherwise, it seems stylistically fine.

    Same as above.
When first looking, you only see those reddish lines.

Otherwise the elevation seems quite convincing. In my oppinion, it's a small mountainous area. There seems to be no flatland at all.

I think you should have used a little more noise after the basin fill and before the incise flow and cut back on the incise effect a bit. Often, a bit of precipiton erosion will help to reduce the umbrella-rib effect of too-deep river channels.

A key to define the meaning of the lines, numbers on key altitude contours to help judge things vertically, and a scale horizontally would be helpful. The basic shading looks nice, though.
