    Post London at night.

    Just thought you guys might like these city scapes at night of London. The link came up over at boingboing and I reckon these are some cool shots.

    Cool stuff... of course... every time I see the London Eye, all I can think about is the Dr Who episode with it where it was used as some type of super antenna....

    They're pretty impressive pictures. The streets in some of the shots (mainly the shots of the city/financial sector) remind me of lava flows. I also think of Doctor Who when I see the London Eye and the Gherkin.

    somewhere on there it said they were done using a helicopter with a stabilized mount - a gyro kind of thing I guess. To get such even trails from the car lights the exposures must have been very long indeed.

    What absolutely fantastic shots. I love the outdoors and big natural environments but cities can be just as beautiful it seems.
