    Map Brazil secvnduvm Europe in XVI Century

    Hello everyone, is nice to come back!
    Well, that's a work I did when I finished my Geography's Bachelor studies. My research was about "European Maps made it by europeans Cartographers explaning about Brazilian colonial space". When it ends, my profesor said I could compilate the graphic aspects of maps that I studied in a hand drawed map. So, here it comes.

    (Unfortunely, my research is in portuguese... it is called "A Paisagem Brasileira em Mapas Europeus do Brasil do Século XVI" (The Brazilian Landscape in European Maps of Brazil during the XVI Century). It can be found in Google.
    Inspired in:
    Brasil, Giacomo Gastaldi e Giovanni Batista Ramusio (1556);
    Brasiliaanze scheepvaard - Pieter van der Aa (1556);
    Typus Orbis Terrarum, - Frans Hogenberg and Abraham Ortelius (1570);
    Le Nouveau Monde Descouvert et Illustre de Nostre Temps - André Thevet (1575);
    Universi Orbis descriptio ad Usum Navigatium, - Giovanni Antonio Magini and Girolamo Porro (1587-9;
    Peruvia id est, Novi Orbis pars Meridionalis à praestantissima eivs in Occidentem regione sic appellata’, - Johann Bussemacher and Matthias Quad (159.

    That's very important to me, I hope you like it!

    Agree with nopkin and others, excellent map, a very good old map style. I am out of rep now so there will be a delay of 24 hours

    That is some serious recreation of style here. Not only is the map gorgeous but it mixes credibility and classic fantasy mapping elements. Great job !

    Wow, Thank you! That's what look for, a kind of "resume creative" of studied maps ^_^
