    Map Britain Map

    UKC.jpg

This is a map of Britain, done in fantasy style. I did this map a few days ago, and would love to hear some thoughts on it.

Very nice work, I always enjoy seeing more hand drawn maps.

    Very good

And I say that even though you haven't put my home town on the map

First off: You've misspelled Limerick, Sheffield and Paisley, and the Isle of Skye is not connected to the mainland (unless you count the road bridge).

Other than that though it's a great style although some Eireans may object to being part of the United Kingdom

Sorry about that, I guess a British map made by an American can't be expected to be perfect. I'll be much more careful next time! Thanks for your advice, I know how I'd feel if someone mis-mapped my homeland! EDIT: It could happen, seeing how Texas is ruffly 3x the size of the UK.

Oh I'm not offended by it at all! I think it's quite well drawn. I'm just a bit of a stickler for speeling I'd rep you on it but I already did that for another map and I have to 'spread the luurrrv' as it were before I can again.

@ LordCartoart - Just to explain - the giving of reputation points is limited to 10 reps in any 24 hour period, and you can't rep the same person again until you have repped at least another 10 people in between

That's fine, if anything rep is nothing more than a glorified complement. it's good to know you like it though, and good to know I should be much more careful, especial of a place I'm unfamiliar with. Thank you all very much!
