Map My first posting to the guild

So I'll use this forum instead of the Introductions since I have a finished map to share straight away.

    Nice looking ship!

I feel your pain with Campaign Cartographer. I love the software (especially CC2 with the Mappa Harnica toolkit addon), but like you am more comfortable with programs like Maptools, The Gimp and Paint Shop Pro.

Welcome to the Guild, and keep posting your work.

I usually draw oblique but am beginning to appreciate top-down maps - the deck from above (crow's nest?) is sharply drawn and immediately believable. I am working on a high-noon city/port drawing next and am very happy to find some good examples of ships. Wizend Carrot is a fine name :-)

I love the ship! That reminds me that I have an old ship map from way back in the day when our campaign's adventurers killed a group of pirates and took their ship. Reworking that's on my to-do list now.
