    Default *** November/December 2024 Challenge: Shaping the Map ***

For the last challenge of 2024, we're returning to a classic theme: your task this time around is to simply create a map based on the shapes attached below. You can either go big and use the entire image, or choose a smaller portion of it. As long as you base your map on something found in this image, you're good to go.

    The usual business:

    - Any map for this challenge cannot have been started before now.

    - Don't forget to label your map thread thusly: November/December 2024 Challenge: (your title here)

    - Preface any work-in-progress pictures you post with the WIP tag: ### Latest WIP ###. You can easily do this by using the button on your text toolbar - it's located on the second row down, towards the right. Doing this allows the picture scraper to see your work and let the voters see it at the end of the month.

The challenge will run until the end of the year (I might not have time to close it immediately on New Year, but I'll get to it as soon as the festivities allow me!)
    Have fun!

I have managed to create a new thread and copied your title as "September / October" but if I am not mistaken then I think you meant to say "November / December" ! So I will edit mine now. If I have missed something strange going on (because I often do) then let me know

Nope, that was an old fashioned oopsie-daisy and thank you for catching it (and to Ifrix for editing it for me as I had already shut my computer down for the night). In my defense, I am a mess of a human being with day-old oatmeal for brains

Question, how accurate do you need to be with the smaller pixel articles found across the image?

Feel free to trace the shapes taking some creative liberties, as long as the general shape is still recognisable you're fine! No need to re-create the pixel quirks of the original image (unless you want to, of course).
