Map Thylea Constellations [Odyssey of the Dragonlords]

I think this will probably be my last posted map for 2019.

I wanted to leave off the end of 2019, and the end of the decade, with a piece that looked to the future, yet was still grounded in the past.
In this case, the ancient past, and navigating by the stars. Millennia have passed, and we still look to the stars, hopeful and in awe.

My life is a journey - no destination. Just a wanderer in the mist.
A pilgrim with a love of life and a wonder at the boundless imagination we can grab hold of.

Perception and intent. Things I feel are very important.
How you perceive is often how you will experience.
And walking with intentionality can craft such splendid voyages.

I try to bring that to what I make.
It's the core behind the name - Imagine Better Worlds.
The future is out there. Ready to be imagined and made manifest.
Carpe diem, my friends. Seize the day. Cheers, J
    Happy New Year

    Notes on this piece...
This was done, again, for the wonderful people at Arcanum Worlds.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with James and Jesse.
Hopefully we have a long road to travel together, cus it's been fun and rewarding.

They needed a piece that showed the constellations of Thylea, but gave me a lot of room to envision that.
I really enjoyed working on this piece, as I was into astronomy as a kid.
So I already had a love of star charts.

People at Arcanum Worlds must be over the moon with so many beautiful maps and illustrations.
    You never disappoint.

This is beautiful depiction of stepping into the new year. The waters are unsettled, but i hope it will be a joyous voyage for you John.

Edit:, Cant spread rep, I think I give it to the same people over and over again

I really like how you did the base of that map, with this ship on the sea. Very creative! The stars are also amazing!

Hand on the pen, head in the stars... it's probably the best way I could define you! Thank you for all those beautiful maps, those pieces of dreams, that you give us all year long! I wish you a wonderful year 2020, full of dreams of better worlds.

I think they have been pleased with the results.
Yes, it's a rough sea, and not always easy to see what's ahead.
