    Default Eri's Mapvember 2017

Saw the post about this on twitter and thought it's an awesome idea
heres what I've done so far. eventually I'll try and colour them up.

    Day 1 - Goblin Cave
Bit of a rushed one and tried the whole hatch style system of lining the walls. This Goblin cave is known for some rather aggressive goblins that go into battle in a mighty rage. To do this they've found a certain special red earthen material that they mine, crush and snort before battle. It eventually turns their skin into stone.

    Day 2 - Bandits
Just realised I could have like doubled the proportions for more detail instead of adhering to 5ft grid stuff but oh well, next time
For this one I was thinking a group of bandits involved in a bar fight decided to take the tavern keep and several patrons hostage. They have heard rumours the tavern has a secret room filled with treasure and are trying to get that information.

    Day 3 - Cultists
Large stump of a tree with crimson bark and gnarled branches sways unnatural within the clearing. Every full moon a cultist group bring sacrifices to the tree that are tied tot he stones nearby. Once their blood touches the ground they are pulled below and consumed by the tree.

    Day 4 - Basilisk
In the ruins of a former castle a family of basilisks have made a home. Lucky for them there seems to be an ample supply of adventurers (food) that come by to search the ruins for treasure.

Ty.. Not exactly comfortable with that style yet though haha, just having a go

    And day 5 ghost now..
Ruins of a decrepit town contain a, not unfriendly kenku ghost who can tell your future... For a price
Not finished with it just yet but wanted to get it out today

    Day 6 Gnoll
What's known as the spear cliffs. Path up to the gnoll city that is lined with spears.

    Day 7 Griffon
Cosy little griffon nest above the rocky plateau

You have such a nice assortment of types of maps so far! It makes it very exciting to see what you have coming up next!

    Map

Tried something a little different for today's one. more a visual of the location first although just couldn't get that roof extension part right. Cobblestones also went funny because i couldn't break out of that 2d look before penning.
The other thing I was thinking was making some kind of border, but then couldn't think of anything haha

Anyway a friendly hags house who can only be found when lost within the Mistfall Hills. WIll sometimes help, other times just playing some practical jokes

I like the last one very much. Maybe you could have filled the canvas a little more, but other that that it's looking very nice.

Yeh I was planning to fill it out a little more, and will probably go back to it later with a bit of colour and shading and such. Problem was I wanted to create some kind of border but couldn't really decide on the style. Was thinking old planks of wood or something, but then something earthy and a little floral lay would be nice too. Once I decide I'll work towards the edges of that a little more. Outline the floor plan as well.
