    Map Salon Fantastique 6e Edition

So, some of you may remember the map I did for the Paris Fantastic Convention in May.
Here's a half-size map for the 6th Edition which will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of November (so, starting Friday).
I'll be there with some prints of my maps.

I obviously chose a more efficient (and time-saving) way to do it.

    Hope you like it!

Ooh, this is a fun piece! Love the coblestone floor, and those monster illustrations are fabulous! Beautiful work as usual.

    Cheers,

I couldn't find your spot in there.
I will admit though, I do like the previous one better.
But, I totally understand the change in style.
That first one must have taken a looooong time to do.

Thanks a lot, Arsheesh . And now that I've done that pavement, I'll be able to re-use it ;-)!

Yup, I tried efficiency this time! In knew I will have to update it very often (I had to do some changes this morning again, you don't have the final version, but it's close)... so I couldn't afford to spend all my time on it (plus, I have other maps/illustrations to do meanwhile). And you're right, the first one was just exhausting!
This time I will be less tired and more prepared (I can't wait to see the prints I'll be able to show!).

    Thanks a lot Thomas !

Here are some maps I scribbled during the event. And clearly, you know why it's better for me to have a ctrl+z option ...

Those three are intended to be modular.

Wow, I love the perspective on the second drawing, it really makes the mountains pop.

Thanks a lot, LordCartoart ! Well, on this, the perspective is OK, it's mainly on the city I got it wrong...

Well, it was fun ! A bit crowded (especially saturday), but there was a lot to see and a lot of interesting people to discuss with. My neighbour was an illustrator for 3D figures and I had an "history pasty cook" accross the way.

What on Earth is a History Pasty Cook?

And I love your little sketches! Who needs CTRL+Z anyway!

EDIT: I've not been paying much attention, what with all the Challenge mapping and the Win 10 update. I hadn't seen your main map before I made this comment. That one is just gorgeous - the way the detail just seems to keep multiplying like a zoomy map as you open up the big version
