Map Death of the Immortal King Map

    Hi and Happy New Year!!!
I hope you had wonderful and adventurous Holidays.

I've just noticed that I haven't shared this map on the Guild yet.
    So here it is

Made for author Sarah McCarthy and her upcoming novel "Death of the Immortal King"
Watercolour and Ink on Paper. Text digitally added.

Really nice tones in this one Francesca
I like the whole banner treatment.

Edit - gotta spread rep around first, unfortunately.

The wall going up in the mountains and the askew compass rose are cherries on top of a tasty looking cake. Another glittering gem !

Oh ... and the tapestry look is a brilliant idea !

Beautiful map Francesca! I'm loving the details and the way you drew the monastery. I also like how it looks like a tapestry. It really draws your attention to the monastery at the top.

Thank you Thomas! I'm happy you noticed the compass I've added it to balance the composition and give it some depth.

Great map full of brilliant ideas! I love the slightly tilted compass, the monastery and the southern part with all those scattered coastal cities. You really have a different view and impression with your eyes going top-down (or the contrary).
