    Hi, Guys!

    For those interested in 3D mapping of landscape terrains, or even those interested in using elevation data to create their 2D maps, here is some good news.

    World Elevation Data is now available for free in JAXA website:

    is under the REQUIRED free license ( the usa can NOT copyright it )

    a 15 and 30 arc sec combined map from the ArcGis files in a resized raw image
    a 65536x32768 16 bit LSB raw image each tone equals 0.5 meters in height
