    Default September/October 2024 Challenge: Gersalt

Well, if a time limit doesn't motivate me to finish something, nothing will! Here's a start, lots of browns and sepias in this map.

This is at 1.5 hours currently.

    Thanks Chashio!

Now at 3 hours and 10 minutes. That's a whole lotta rivers and not done with em yet. In fact, I think the majority of time on this has been/will be spent on rivers. Craziness! It wasn't supposed to be this intricate when I started on them.

I'm at about 4 hrs, 35 min. Not sure I'll be able to do the rest of this thing justice, so if I can't completely finish it in 25 minutes, I'll post what I have and then put the final version in the finished maps forum. Anyway:

Well, this is it, at least for the challenge portion. I still want to flesh it out more, but at least it's coherent, kind of a landforms guide at this point. Final time was about 5 hours and a few minutes, hopefully it still counts!

    Final

Great job! I love the moody, rustic aesthetic. I can't decide whether it belongs in Bilbo Baggins' map collection or it should be hanging on Indiana Jones' wall...
