GIMP 2.4 is Released

In case you didn't know (and use GIMP) version 2.4 is now out. It includes all the things I have become quite used to in the 2.3 dev version I have been running to date.

There is a fairly good review here

And it can be downloaded in source at the main GIMP website. A Windows installer is also available now.

Key features I like are:

• scalable brushes
• jitter brushes
• heal tool
• better selection tools
• improved colour picker (any where on your screen)
