    Default Writers need maps too

Hey everyone. Google helped me find you.

I'm Reaph, 35 year old linux sysadmin and amateur writer. Since some of my musings are fantasy, being able to create a nice looking map can and will come in handy. I'm pretty handy at the basic GIMP stuff, and have little experience in Inkscape. I've also tinkered with Blender a bit.

I'm currently working on a story that - during the course of the next few years - will probably need a detailed world map. Could be a nice project, so I hope to have some nice maps up after reading your tips and tutorials.

    Welcome to the guild.

Look forward to seeing your maps and skill evolve and maybe through the course of your mapping learn a little bit about your writing.
Royal: I'm very sorry for your loss, your mother was a terribly attractive woman.

welcome to the guild... go look through the tutorial section - I'm sure you'll find a fitting style in there - and when you're ready, post in the WIP section for help and critique
