Yauw? Hm, that might even work. Anyway, after wracking my brain and several really crappy attempts at laying out the basic coastlines, I ended up with this.

Needs plenty of work but I guess this will do as wip#1.

WIP#5. Now high-res. I am fairly happy with the general layout of the landmasses now, but the coastlines still need a ton of work.

looks good - now throw a tree in there and call it done *lol*

Right...
Anyway:
WIP#8. Added equator and tropics for a sense of location and scale, as well as basic markings for where I know mountainous areas to be.

Looking good so far...

Thanks.
I probably won't get to work on this anymore today, so WIP#9 with its minor changes shall be the final update for the weekend.

WIP#13. Experimenting with mountains and highland regions. Not yet happy with them. Coastlines were also refined, and are close to done.

Well, WIP#14 changes mountains again. I am thinking of doing a more or less normal elevation map, like so:
Really not sure how to approach this map. I will probably fill out the main mountain ranges and see how it looks.
is the above contient suppose to be mostly desert? I don't see many areas where rivers have cut into the land.
could be just you haven't put enough detail into the interior yet. your mountain ridge looks really good though, i would think heavily forested and wet on the western side(not in all parts perhaps).
