    Looks interesting and outputs maps as postscript and illustrator files. Seems to have a lot of detail built in:

    hmmm maybe I'm not using it corretly, but when you move away from equator the map doesn't rotate around the globe, thus my homeland denmark is pressed height wise...

    Yep, it's a projected view that they give you, sadly.

    You can export SVG or PDF from Open Street Map. You get a better interface, more detail, and a more generally useful projection (Spherical Mercator rather than Equidistant Rectangular.)
