Hi, Mohsin - I'm Jake, and I'm from Alabama, and honest, my house does have electricity. Well, when tornadoes don't knock it out. Yes, stereotypes can stink ;-).

Ah, yes - Bahrain - one of the homes of Interestingly Artistic Islands. Love the thought of landscape design on such a scale.

Don't feel intimidated by the fact the Gimp takes a while to learn - it IS a big program with lots of capability. I already like the landform you have made , Arinala. It looks quite believable, and Waldronate proved it has promise (wow!)... Give us some hints of your story, and we'll have a better idea of how to help. If you are thinking "thirty thousand km long, covered with forest, with adventurers exploring a lonely wilderness" it won't do you much good if I suggest how to scatter a hundred big cities across an industrialized futuristic civilization squeezed onto a 300-km island.

glad you liked my map, and about the scale I thought about making it huge, something like three continents one in the east, one in the south and one in the west all separated by either mountain ranges or huge forests and jungles.
