Default Map a land at war

I don't if someone has posted an idea like this before but how we have a comp base around maps depicting a land currently at war. It should show things like the movements of various armies and generals, sites of historical or noteworthy battles and field camps/bases. It can set during any age like fantasy, blackpowder, modern, futuristic hell I would love see if anyone who can be depict a battlemap like this that takes place in space across multiple planets. It could be at any reasonable scale, nothing too huge.

Just an idea, what do people think?

People come and people go. I walk amongst them, I see their faces; but none see mine. I pass them in the streets but nary a glance is spared my way, for what interest would they have in a Wanderer? Not of this world... Forever Alone... Forever Wandering... LoneWandererD...

We did a battle challenge once but it was more on a small skirmish scale about and I think the General won it; not sure, been a while. A full nations-at-war kind of thing would be doable.

It was a siege map challenge, and I did win (my one and only), but only barely IIRC.

I think it was a tie! Wasn't it Sap and the General?

Definitly voted yes. This matches with the theme of the world some of maps are starting to build.

This is an awesome idea. I actually wanted to try something like this; if it's for a Challenge, even better.
