    Default Bundamališ

After a hiatus from mapping with GIMP, I thought I'd give another go at a regional map. I almost never finish my maps (need to get more committed, I guess ), but in the hope that I'll get a bit further with this one, here's the first WIP:

Long way to go yet, but I'd be thankful if you guys can offer any comments on the colour and general look of the thing.

EDIT: Thanks to Ramah and Vhailor for the mountain brushes, and StarRaven for the neat north arrow.

Very nice so far, I especially like the craggly look up north.

My, what lovely fjords you have. I dig 'em.

How cartographly illiterate I am, I had no idea that's what they were called.

An update for you, not because there has been any revolutionary progress, but because I doubt I'm going to get much time to work on this in the coming weeks. It's a busy time, unfortunately. This does perhaps give a better idea of how the finished map might look, though.

Thanks again for the comments guys.
