    Default I am myself!

I'm not fairly new to hand-drawing maps as it's all I do during my spare time. I'm hoping to make some fantasy maps, the most recent demonstration of my work was done in Paint.net for my friend Claire, she told me to make something random out of a peninsula doodle she e-mailed me and this is what I did to it:

All the imperfections are due to my lack of knowledge in this trade, yet I do have a fairly good name generator built into my brain so I enjoy naming countries and cities.

    I hope I am welcomed here. ^_^

Oh, here's a map I did in about two hours for my intro. The first one was like 30 mins to an hour.

Solid work, nothing to worry about - once you poke around here for a while and try out a few things you'll be well on your way. I might suggest that the red text be changed to black because the red plays tricks with the eyes against that blue sea background and consequently I can't read it too well (I have to get up real close to my monitor to keep my eyes from buggin). The rivers also need some tweaking...lakes only have one outflowing river and they also do not join two oceans together. That's something that almost everyone messes up the first time, though. Otherwise you have a solid grasp of things.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.
