Whether an impenetrable island fortress in the vein of Alcatraz, a genie's lamp, or the Labyrinth of Crete, the idea of this challenge is to map a prison of some sort. Anything built to keep its occupant contained qualifies.
MWAHAHAHA!!!! I shall build a dungeon capable of holding GOD HIMSELF!!!!!
Nooooo! I refuse to participate in your evil nasty captivity!

So we've got a unanimous yes so far! Any other votes or comments?
Actually need to make a prison level for one of my dungeon maps, so this might encourage me to do so
Interesting idea...
I have an idea for a really intense and intricate magical prison, but I'm not sure I have the skills to pull it off from an artistic standpoint. If this ever makes it into the line-up I will find out. At the very least I'd be pushing myself.
Six by ten. Job done.
A prison for what? If we use Terry Pratchett's diskworld, with 8 as the magic number, I wonder if you could build a map based on Amman-Beenker tiling, which has an 8-fold symmetry. A prison to confine That Which Must Not Be Named!
Dark, damp, foul smelling of sweat and fear. Guards that long ago lost their compassion and now only live to dole out brutal punishment for the smallest of perceived offenses. Not to mention the wagering on "to the death" fights between prisoners. Forgotten souls lost in the "Black Palace" justice forsaken for vengeance...... What's not to love about this idea
I am the breath of Dragons...The Song of Mountains...The Stories of Rivers....The Heart of Cities.... I am A Cartographer....
